Hot Rod pics

If anyone's interested, a few pics of the undercarriage of my '29 streetrod showing where the essentials are located.

The master cyl and brake booster on mid left side (help's tidy up and uncrowd engine bay) Also the battery mid right side,(it's hard to see) same reason, no room in engine bay. Some shots of the Toyota Tacoma front pow steering rack and disc brake set up.

Home design panhard bar to keep body roll at minimum (This was a trial and error) but works great now. Also fuel pump location.

Hope it's of some help.,

Not stealing the muffler, planting the evidence.

He's installing a new fuel pump while the car is in for a factory recall. He's the hot rod specialist up here. New brakes today, rotors pads shoes then we're all set for our annual tour in Maine later on this month.. Taking this rig instead of the Porsche this year. Hope to
hit some car shows/show and shines in Maine, and hope for fair weather as the weak
link in this car is the wipers. Lots of rainex might help.

Power steering, power brakes....?
Couldn't find that stuff on my 29. I did find a Hildebrand quick change rear end and the correct engine.

Those heads are kinda flat.

And somebody stole a couple of your exhaust header pipes.

Pretty cool. No issue putting a brake booster right next to your exhaust?

Few more pics from today's brake job, my friend brought his 36 International in today. He built both of these street rods and has two others on the go. This international is about as nice as they come.
Same set up as mine, shinier paint. (His has a very nice rad shell), these Internationals are quite rare. Nice grey leather interior. He's a good builder. Enjoy.

No issue with heat around the booster, not as close as it looks. Gets a nice cool breeze blowin' thru. (Nothing gets hot up here in Canada) Ocean breezes.

Nice Rod!

I just bought a '30 Tudor Sedan last weekend. Pretty much done. Nowdays I let someone else do the major part of the build and then I buy it for less than they have in it! I liked this one because it's not chopped....at 6'4" I don't fit in a chop top Rod.

Very groovy, injected elephant.

Better put fireproof paint on the sides where the pipes end.

R K T and John Walker's, Those are a pair of nice street rods! Very nice. We have one coming up with a 331 Hemi. Probably next year on that one.
