Disable TPMS 06' Yukon
Long story short.
Picked up a great deal on some aftermarket rims with Pirellis already mounted for the little womans SUV. They don't have TPMS sensors in them so I'm getting the "Service Tire Pressure Monitor" error on the in dash readout. Don't really feel like dealing with having the wheels pulled to get TPMS tossed in right now, rather wait till she burns through the rubber and deal with it then. I believe 08' and up TPMS is mandatory for a vehicle that size? Anyone know if it can be switched off in an 06' Google is just returning a bunch of results on resetting which does me no good.

Once the warning comes up on your dash press the button on your steering wheel next to and just above the button with the gas pump symbol on it.
You will need to do this every time you start the car. I don't know how to delete the warning permanently or until you need it. ![]() ![]()
