That is really cool. If this wasn't in the cross hairs I would be getting some information.

I can't get past the fact that the boat in the OP is a coupe and not a cab. What was it built for, the North Pole?

I can't stop looking at this thing. Between this and the '65 Olds wagon, good thing I don't have more garage space and no wife. Thankfully I've got a little 02 project going.

It just looks that way due to the photo...it is actually pretty cool. I think this is what we are looking at:

Add me to the "don't need it but want it" camp. There is no more beautiful boat than a fully restored classic Chris Craft.

I was thinking the same thing. Even if the side windows slide open, that cabin would still have to be pretty hot place to be in the summer time. Especially in Texas!

Looks cool. I have no affiliation or interest but you never know what you crazy ****ers on this board are into.

If anyone has interest in knowing more I can reach out to seller.

Description;

Wood is solid but it needs sealant. There are some gaps between planks. The inside needs a new deck. The engine was rebuilt 15+ years ago before we bought it. We never did anything with it, so don't know it it runs r not. The leather on the seats was redone too.

Love, love, love that boat...

No, no, no, way!

LOL.... not a chance Skipper

Neat place to visit: http://www.woodboat.net/
The restoration shop is at a different location and worthy of a visit as well.

As someone mentioned above and memories of skiing. Friend had CC woodie runabout inboard with a Packard straight 8 flathead. Heavy beast would gurgle along and tame choppy water. The wake wasn't too bad either. Good days.

I showed this to my dad and asked him how much to restore it. He said about 35k. I then asked what would it be worth? About 35k. I knew there's nothing cheap about wood boats. They sure are beautiful.
