DocFluffers Stag Party at The Ring and Zuffenhausen!

So yes, yours truly, the resident fluffer is getting married. This Saturday. Since I met my lovely Marie four years ago I finally found my place in this world. Complete harmony and happiness. This is it, as it were.
Anyway, I was not expecting any stag party but last friday my brother pics me up in the morning at work and we head of to the train station. Complete surprise. He will not reveal any plans. We head down to Copenhagen and on the flight to Dusseldorf, Germany. On the plane I was treated to the "Complete drink menu". Once landed we were met by one of my oldest friends. He puts a big silly Mexican hot on my head and large beer in my hand. Two hours drive and we park outside his villa in the Little pitoresque Town of Adenau right on The Ring. In his garage resides a 964 RSA. We leave my bag and head down to Team Schirmer were my friend keeps his race prepped BMW M3, ready to go. Five minutes later we are at the start of Nurburgring.

Let me tell you. The first lap riding with him was a shock to my senses. Its my first time and the track is just out of this world. My memory of those first laps is a blurr. The most intense chock is not the accelleration or actual speed, although I notice 250 km/h + more than once. No, the most incredible sensation is the brutal forces when cornering and braking. Just Brutal! I was screaming, laughing silly, almost soiling my pants. My friend smiling, completely calm, saying dont worry I take it easy for your benefit.
The next day we head down to Stuttgart, Zuffenhausen and the Porsche Museum. What a wet Dream for a Porsche nerd like my me! I must have taken over 300 pics.
On Sunday we Went back to the track for a few more laps and picked some overlooking spots along the track to Watch the drivers thunder by. What a completely insanely wonderful place! Oh, and we had lunch at the Hotel am Tiergarten owned by the mother of Sabine Schmitz.
Cant wait to get back and from here it only takes like six hours.

Yes, Marie knows I am weird bloke but she seems to like me anyway.

And yes, she is an excellent cook. Last Winter I gained 15 Pounds from her cooking. I need to get in shape for next years Vasaloppet, I cant imagine how..
