The Fault in Our Stars...
So I took my 11 year old daughter and her best friend to see this movie. My wife heard the book on tape and said that it would be OK but didn't give any details other than handing us a travel pack of Kleenexs. Her parting words were 'ya gonna need them'.
I may have been the only guy in the movie house. The thing was a tear jerker. Right there with Terms of Endearment, Sophie's Choice and Brian's Song. Its my understanding that the movie is based on a true story. About 1/4 of the way in I looked over at my little girl who had her head on my shoulder and said 'this is going to get much sadder sweetie' without knowing the story line. I was right. But, all-in-all it was a pretty decent movie for what it was... ![]() ![]() ![]()

We will definitely be seeing this one. Our little girl's oncology Dr, consulted on this movie, and makes a brief appearance in it. Most of the movie was filmed right here in Pittsburgh. Glad to hear it is a good one. Thanks for the review
