Wizard of Oz, 26 Jesus's, Federal Reserve, Rothschild Family

So...........I have this neighbor .................(a little back ground first) who is a retired mechanical engineer in his mid-50's that now restores vintage Asian / European motorcycles primarily, but also does specialty metal work from his 'home garage'. His 'business' is entirely off of the radar and you would not know to what end his 'home garage' really contains.

Full blown commercial machine shop (that has a 3-phase converter) including some older CNC mills, three lathes, MIG/TIG/stick welders, plasma cutters, 3 bike lifts, enough large scale metal working equipment that would make Jesse James smile. I would gestimate @$250K in this stuff alone. There is so much equipment and tools that there is very little space to actually work.

He also has a large private collection of vintage Asian / Euro bikes, some with less than 5 original miles. 35 of which sits in the 2nd floor of building that only is accessible by taking a ladder, then opening a french door and climbing in. There are 2 pre-1955 and 1 pre-'42 concourse restored BMW' bikes in his home's great room. There are more bikes elsewhere on his property but I would guess conservative value just what I have seen @$300K

I do like the guy and I have him do some of my custom machine work or other specialty stuff when needs arise. He is meticulous, dependable and very reasonable............................but the guy's brain just seems to function on a whole 'nother plane and he serious ADD. Last Saturday I take a double sided stud that needed @10MM taken off of the jam nut (so I can move a shock closer to the frame for clearance) A few hours later he rides up on his scooter and hands me back the finished piece.

We start talking and hanging out a little.......... he asks me how things are going with the new job and I say "OK" but the County is "Really getting it's money worth from me.........for the time being". He looked puzzled, then we talked more and the conversation obviously turned toward the current economic climate. This is where either his true genius or idiocy came out in a '*****-you-not' 1-1/2 hour monolog............here are some the highlights:

"You know the original Wizard of Oz is really a cautionary tale when the US went from using actual gold and silver to paper money"
"The federal reserve has nothing to do with the federal government, it's a name only (like Fed-ex) and is actually a small group of private bankers that are controlled like puppets by the Rothschild family. The Rothschild family control the world's economy"

"Which is why all wars are really over money and (world banks) and really the Rothschild family, have total control"

"All oil is traded in US dollars only and the real reason The US went after Sadam Husein is because he wanted to sell oil in what-ever currency that was not USD"

"The US dollar's real global value is tied to the oil we control and NOT gold"

"There were 400 bibles and 26 Jesus' before the one the Christians accept as the real Jesus"

"No where in the bible does it mention; specifically 'marriage' between man and women"

"We never really 'freed' the slaves but actually made all men equal so now the rich could have whites and black be slaves - which is why Lincoln and Kennedy were both assassinated and not coincidentally with a gun from a lone hit man"

There were more but these were the best of....................I just sat there and finally realized my ears were bleeding. Anyone know WTF this guy is talking about? Is he a genius or idiot?

Well........................I asked this very question as I'm climbing up the rickety ladder that just reaches the bottom of 2nd floor. The bikes that are on the 2nd floor with only 1 opening (french doors) he has a small home-made elevator that is powered from his house, not his garage with a secret (incorrect ID'd) breaker in the fuse box and then has a touch pad for entering numeric code just in case someone decides to steal and supply their own 110V power!

He also has a fairly sophisticated security system for the entire property.

I've heard all of those statements at various times over the years from different sources...except the one about 400 bibles and 26 Jesus'.

I do believe that the Federal Reserve has both public and private components.

I've also heard speculation that the Rothschilds were the ones who bankrolled Hitler's rise to power and subsequent attempt at European domination.

True or not, they certainly are some interesting theories. Your neighbor sounds like quite a character...

I have a friend that listens to a LOT of AM radio. Especially late night AM radio. He would agree with your neighbor and give him some more goof ball theories. He seems normal until politics comes up. I just change the subject.

just to add (and dont take this the wrong way) but as nutty as he may be, if he was decent enough and gave you a private tour and let you into some of his personal secrets and to see his equip and bikes, maybe imo a public forum isn't the best place to discuss them openly?

I did not mention his name, and he is.................. well wacky enough I thought I'd share it with everyone here. He is basically a nice guy, does great work, is a neighbor but I would sum our relationship up as "I guy I know"

I think Asphalt is, in a subtle way, letting his Pelican friends know if we don't hear from him, there is a place to look for his body.

I love your neighbor, his stories are probably true and not true and every shade in between. I've heard many over the years and frankly, I am shocked that they only did 400 bibles.

You guys might find his conversation funny and strange, but if you do your research carefully, you will find that most of what he is saying is true.

But don't expect to hear it on FOX or Maury...

The part about the value of the dollar being tied to oil, I'm not sure I have an issue with that.
