I haven't been see fireworks in years. This area is too big and populated. I don't want to deal with the crowds and traffic. I'll see some on the way home tonight and then I'll hear them all over the neighborhood.

I'm in the boonies, housesitting. The dogs freaked last nite. Will crate them and go watch.

The craziest FW display I ever saw was Daytona Beach. The shells were going up every few seconds. The cardboard cases fell on the spectator's heads. It was like D-Day without the casualties..

We go all out for the 4th, the kids love it. The in-laws have 40 acres in the country so we do what we want. Combined between the family I bet we shoot $2k worth of stuff today. Happy Independence Day!

I'm sure our neighborhood will sound like a war zone tonight.
Last night we had neighbors hunting gophers with M80's in their front yard.
I'm sure tonight will be even more of the same.

Right on lake Union in Seattle. Got a Suite in a hotel. Should be fun.

Always a great event in my little town, We have a good sized display and lots of partying. Since I am the sober one I always have a truck full of people. I drive down early and we park basically under the launch site. Sit up and watch them go up, lay back and watch them go off, that and my neighbors and friends are all fun drunks so lots of laughs will be had. I'll see how many people I am hauling like cattle as I am pulling out of the driveway. Good times

We'll be taking the neighbors from across the road down to the rez, where we'll set up chairs in the bed. We always appreciate the fireworks show they put on.

We'll on the lake in the pontoon boat watching and having ice cream cake. Yum!

The NY Mets Spring training stadium is only a couple miles from our home and they have fireworks. That's where we get our fix.

Not as good as most years but still fun.

Got to see a great show in South Pasadena last night very close over the H S stadium complete with patriotic music played to accompany the fireworks, excellent !

I was with my grandsons on the 5th ( their dad had them for the 4th). Bad grandpa, I did not go shopping for explosives this year. I thought I at least had some small shells, roman candles, and bottle rockets left from Christmas, but couldn't find them. This year my grandsons had to celebrate the birth of our nation without explosives. Pity. I did make them sit and listened to the NPR reading of the Declaration of Independence.
