You guys are, of course, right (when are you ever wrong?). It just makes no sense to get physically aggressive from a bike against a car. A little harmless fun ("juvenile", remember?) with some ass clown, maybe. Kicking doors, snapping off mirrors - not so much. A guy could get hurt.

Thank God I have my Land Cruiser for when I get really pissed off. It has a massive brush guard on the front, all welded to the frame and everything. Great for ramming into dickheads that cut me off, are going too slow and hogging the left lane, are yammering on their cells, or whatever. Really wakes 'em up. Surprises most of them, too. I guess most folks have grown used to getting away with their dangerous, selfish behavior, with all you snivelling twits having grown afraid to call them on it.

I'm sorry, though - I just find it far too difficult to first log on here to ask all of you what to do, then write a stern (but anonymous) note and put it under their wiper at 60+ mph.

first off you're a tool, you may provoke him into making an unsafe lane change to get in front of you knocking you to the ground and it would be your fault for being a tool, and before you get all self righteous I probably have over half a million miles on bikes, I raced moto x at indian dunes in the early 70's, and have ridden street bikes since 1975 to date, worked as a motorcycle courier in LA for a while (particularly fun during the olympics), yeah your traffic is nothing like LA traffic, yes cell phones has made it more dangerous for motorcyclist, either quit or adapt, be more alert(you always have to assume no one sees you anyway)you try that stunt in LA you have about a 20% chance of getting run over-for being a tool (pic of my current ride)

I helped Ben prototype his first M&K muffler for 1in1out Carreras on my 84 Targa. It was loud, very loud, but oh so sweet. Went from V8 Mustang burble to F1 just about after 6K...it had a longer can than used in resulting production. Was in stop and go town traffic and right next to me was a Harley guy. Not the midlife crisis type, he looked authentic, craggy and cranky. His bike was loud, and being a Harley, sounded like ****. So to drown him out, I kept the idle a little high. He was annoyed. Everyone else had their windows up and AC on. Luckily for him, the road split soon and he went on his way. But a mile or so down, it came together again and we were right back together again, like old chums. He looked at me and spat, "YOU AGAIN?!" and turned his bike around and drove away the other way. That was juvenile, but a lot of fun.

He had gold rimmed sunglasses on.

Baz, you are a good guy, so I'll give you a break. Go back and re-read what I said.

Damage a vehicle for driving carelessly? No - I never said that. Damage one for damn near running me over while yammering on the phone? Yes. Force me into oncoming traffic, into the ditch, up onto the sidewalk? If I can catch you, I'll do my best to give you something to remember me by.

In this particular case, all I did was make it impossible for some self-centered ass hole to continue his cell phone conversation while driving. Purely juvenile fun, as stated in the very title of this thread. Did I change the world? Did I even change his behavior? Hell no. Would I do it again? Hell yes.

Same here. I messed with and caused my share of fear in a few drivers when I was younger. These days I'm more likely to make excuses for what appears to be stupid maneuvers performed by others.

Other guy in a hurry? Maybe he's got good reason. Driving is a lot less stressful that way. I've spent enough time on the track that I feel I've got nothing to prove on the street.

Truth be told, I totally understand where you are coming from - the problem is law enforcement is not doing as much as they should to stop this cell phone crap on our roadways! It frustrates me as well just driving in my truck - you guys on bikes are even more at risk.

You did get piled on here but that's the nature of the beast, you know.

FWIW when I read your thread title and you said "can be so juvenile" right then and there you were fessing up to your behaviour so no one can really say you were portraying yourself differently.

I remember driving back from a DE weekend at Roebling Road on I-95 south with my '81 SC and open pipes and once in a while someone would be blocking that left lane. Those are the times when you are glad you can drop her down into 4th and subliminally let them know you exist.
