Nice! Is it the 2.7TT? Except for the sometimes problematic air suspension I think they are pretty solid cars, and you can always convert the air suspension to a conventional coil spring setup.

Congrats. I'd love a 2.7 model for a DD, with the air susp still in tact (there are aftermarket bags and pumps that seem to hold up well).

check the timing belt! Air bags from Arnott Industries are the best option if you need to replace them. We like our a lot, its like a tank in the snow. We have never been let down with ours but it sure is thirsty!

I really do hope your ownership is troublefree and enjoyable. However, the internet definiately doesnt agree with you on this. Unless your definition of big 3 is: volkswagon, volkswagon, and volkswagon

An amusing thread about a 20$ allroad

I bought a 2001 Audi Allroad for $20 - NASIOC

I always wanted one. Couldn't afford one when new, and feared the maintenance on pre-owned. I don't know...still lust for one.

Poorly maintained 2.7Ts can blow turbos, but that's about it. The 4.2 on the other hand...
