The Spring Litter is getting big.

Every year we have litters in several backyards around the hood. This years crop is looking really healthy. Personally I love having them around. Excellent varmint control and best part, it's free.

Awesome! They are very secretive around these parts. I've seen them only about a half dozen times. Wish I saw them more, and never seen a mountain lion. Coyotes on the other hand are pretty bold.

Super cool. Wouldn't be as cool for us since we have a small dog, but I love to have nature around, at least, when it's not too much of a danger to me.

I love seeing bobcats around here. We used to see them on a more regular basis than now. Could be they pass in the bushes rather than on the open property. I glimpsed one about two weeks ago above our house. I always know when a bobcat or coyote is around. The ravens raise hell squawking and diving at them.

My bobcat, looks innocent but he is death to bugs: My friend was staying at an acquaintance's house in Laughlin NV., late at night he and his wife were sitting outdoors in a hot tub and a bobcat wanders by like nothing was happening.

Litters? I'll take one. I have a chihuahua that needs a lesson in humility!

When I was a kid, the neighbor raised bobcats for re-introduction (I was told) into the wild. One summer, we ended up with a kit as a house cat for about a month. It was affectionate enough, litter box trained and would stalk us in the yard. It also climbed the curtains on a regular basis and wanted to play each morning when the sun was coming up (about 5:30 on the great plains). To it, play is curling up around your head purring until you move. At that point it was "On like Donkey Kong." Those two issues earned it a ticket back to the neighbors'.

I love big cats. I've only seen a bobcat around here once (and everybody panicked).
