1961 Corvair Station Wagon

I drove by this and just couldn't help stopping and grabbing a few pics, If I had $10K burning a hole in my pocket I would be all over this.
I am not associated or affiliated with the seller.
I took a few more pics but having difficulty uploading from my cell phone.

The early cars are really gaining in popularity and value. I've seen pictures of this car posted in the Corvair forum. Great little car. Could be a good investment.

NICE! Excellent example of how much effort was put into automobile style back in the day.

I would like it even more with a manual transmission.

Love the air vents along the top of the rear fenders!

I hope it goes to a good home.

cool. I wonder how cool that thing would run. I guess with those vents down the top of both fenders that could supply a fair amount of air. And it's not a stinger.

Corvairs..........

These are fun cars! I have had 2, a 1966 Corsa Coupe and a 1966 Monza convertible with all of the Corsa "stuff" on it. Both were the 140 hp versions with 4-1bbl carbs. Not too expensive to own and operate either!

an interesting twist on what was a wagon....needing work of course. Not mine, just found it on Spokane CL; supposedly done back in the 60s.

Could be either "NOS" or new material that is just like the original.

Bottom line is the seller is keeping everything stock or as it came from the factory.

I'm still blown away by those cooooool factory original hubcaps!

Hubcaps are important!

99.9% of cars - especially vintage cars - look way better than the blingy garbage people replace them with.
