Our daughter is attending U of O so I have been watching the Ducks for a few years now. I'm not a super fan of football or expert but I can tell you their offence was freakishly bad regarding penalties. It is odd for them to get that many false starts in an entire game much less a quarter. Again I'm not a big college football geek but I understand their offensive front line had a bunch of injuries therefor a bunch of noobs were playing.

Looks like two of the final four is set, Mizzou is outmatched. Hopefully tonight has some better games, I'm a KSU, GT, and U of W fan tonight.

It doesn't matter to the playoff, but did anyone else watch OSU beat OU in OT? Big Game Bob is going to feel his seat get pretty warm in Norman.....

Naw....Coach Stoops isn't going anywhere and his seat shouldn't be even luke warm with his accomplishments:

• 8 conference championships
• 1 national championship
• 5 national coach of the year honors
• 9 BCS bowls (he's the ONLY coach to win EVERY BCS game)
• 80% winning percentage (Spurrier's winning % here was 81%)
• Coached 2 Heisman winners and 2 runner-ups
• Hired the likes of Mangino, Sumlin, Leach as OCs
• In 16 years he's only lost SEVEN games at home.

While I agree about Stoops, a lot of OU fans aren't happy if they aren't in the mix for a national championship every year. They really haven't been a factor at that level for quite some time.

I understand that perspective very well!

They did have a great win against Bama in last year's bowl game though - that's almost like winning the NC.

Too much Baylor, not enough KSU. That's how it goes.....

So who is in? You have to assume that Oregon, FSU, and Alabama are a lock. So are they going to bump TCU out of #3? How do you value Baylor beating TCU? How impressed are you in OSU? It's a tough call. Bottom line, expanding the playoff can't come soon enough......

Yup... And losing at home to O State is a big deal. Especially after the way the boys in orange walked all over him last year...

But what does he care, last I heard he was approaching 10mil/year. He can probably retire soon.

First loss at home to a Mike Gundy coached OSU team.......and one that was 5-6 no less. Ouch. Add that to the fact that they were supposed to be a national championship contender this year but might finish un-ranked. I think the sports talk radio in OK will be interesting on Monday.

Most of those guys could never work again and be set for life. I think it's ego as much as anything else.

Ohio State should go to 4 after last night. Overall TCU hasn't had as impressive a season as OSU.

The Buckeyes have earned the 4th spot, IMHO.

Big 12 should have had that championship game....we'll see what happens....

Looking back at the Big 10 and OSU season, I have a hard time being impressed. At least FSU stayed undefeated while playing a weak schedule. I think some see the historic names in the Big 10 and forget that many are shadows of their former glory.

Florida State is in the ACC.
They were ranked 4th nationally.
Now 3rd.

Selection committee final ranking/seeds for the playoffs.
1. Alabama.
2. Oregon.
3. Florida State.
4. Ohio State.

I would like to see Ducks vs. Tide for the whole enchilada.
The selections are from 4 different conferences.
Don't mind seeing Ohio State in, but Baylor got boned in my opinion.

The Big 12 needs to have a conference championship game - period. Without it they will always be low man on the totem pole.

So.....Briles or Patterson to Michigan?
