It's funny how all these "revolutionary new engines" are just like various types of pumps that have been around for decades. In college in my first CAD class we had an assignment to make a pump that functioned like the engine above.
I doubt it will go nearly as far as the Wankel. Seems to have the same problems and less of the simplicity.

But they have patent drawings AND a CAD model!
They talk about sealing issues on the Wankel, but that is NOT the fundamental problem there - the shape of the combustion chamber is the problem. This appears to share that fundamental problem.
