^^^^^ What Matt said, keep the BMW and get a Jeep or pick up an FJ80 and trick it out for camping, hauling and urban assaults...

I did head out here on a light day and test drive a way over priced (IMHO) 2008 Tacoma. It's pretty basic and dull but a good size. Seems like nice Toyota quality. Just to have a new data point for myself.

I don't have a trailer, but a lot of friends that do, so I would borrow or rent from U-haul.. The car, last time weighed was 2900#.

Just curious. 2900 lb car plus 2000 lb trailer would be doable with a Tacoma, though it would likely be noticeable.
