I watch it somewhat often. A lot of times I don't see it in the guide and miss it. But I "liked" it on facebook and now get a heads-up when it is going to have something interesting.
One of the better ones is online and talks about the quest to reach absolute zero temperature. A few weeks ago was "Saving Otter 501" which is a nice, feel-good story.

The original NOVA, yes. It's still good. But the Nova spin off crap with global warming shows and junk is terrible.
You can go to PBS.org and watch past shows. |

I agree with this statement (pardon my edit), some of the new shows are four fifteen minute mini NOVA's, not so good.

No. Don't watch anything on PBS anymore. Global warming crap and other political and politically correct garbage just turned me off. And what percentage of their budget is tax payer dollars? Anything more than zero is too much.

I watched several Austin City Limits and don't recall any "global warming crap".

Exactly. That "scientist" something Tyson on the Nova spin offs does global warming. Not the musical shows.

Clearly if you don't believe in science you won't enjoy a tv program about science...

That scientist Tyson, would be Neil de grasse Tyson, one of the worlds leading astrophysicists, and probably smarter than quite a few pelicans combined.

Nova is still worthwhile TV although lately it has started to become a little 'watered' down compared to years past - in my opinion at least.

You must mean that he's one of America's leading science TV personalities. Not the world's leading astrophysicist. Otherwise he would be in a lab at Hubble or NASA rather than leading children's tours or rehearsing TV show scripts.

Well isn't that trite. You must like every religious show if you believe in God. You must like every musical show if you enjoy music. You must enjoy every race if you like racing.
