+1 From first hand experience...Unless you go crazy with a 993 turbo motor, even "cubic dollars" can't match it from a performance standpoint.

It cost me $26K to produce a 300hp 3.4L "streetable" motor for my hot rod...from a case, rods, and heads I provided! That's more than the total cost of a low-mileage Z06 for over 100 LESS HP, with no A/C. Plus, I still have the low RPM cough of PMO's vs. state-of-the-art MP-EFI. Put on modern MFI or EFI on a 911 and you sink another $15K.

You should have just built a turbo 3.2 and diet your car down to 2300. Z06's usually get a nice long look at my Ducktail.
