He's a Savannah (part African Serval) and chirps and yodels. No meows.
Raw chicken legs with bone are his primary diet.
Best not to get near him when he is feeding.
Can jump from floor to top of fridge and leap from there 10-12ft to my shoulder, usually uninvited. Fully clawed, as are all 3 of my cats.

beautiful cat! But having him walking around on the ceiling like that would creep me out a bit!
We were planning on getting one of those semi wild cat breeds but a local cat recue person found a litter and Marshall followed us home.

Someone abandoned a pregnant cat at the park I work at, a group of workers banded together and nursed the kittens than found homes for them, this one is tigger:

Hey Scott,

Marshall is a good looking young kit.
You're a good man for rescuing him.
My 3rd cat, George is a rescue. Getting a pic of him is proving to be a challenge.

Are my pics upside down?
I post from an iPad.
When I preview they are right side up and looking at the posts they are correct.
Is this a common prob with the iPad?

Thanks,

Matt

Yes, a number of people who post pictures from iPads seem to post them upside down, not sure what the fix is. We have some iPads here at work but we don't take pictures with them.

Speaking of abandon cats... some people also abandon cats at the beach... we have a group of cat caregivers that feed and trap/spay/neuter/release them:

I did a little photo study:

George, a blue point Himalayan.
Should have named him Casper.
Rarely visible.
Loves my other cats, not so sure about humans.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1409433320.jpg

The cats who have owned me have all had very different personalities. Twiggy, the sole remaining beast is the most affectionate one ever. She is totally loyal and a bit jealous of my wife. Funny dynamic between them.

We're edging closer to getting her a companion. Maybe we'll go to the shelter next weekend and see...

Good on them.

We have an organisation like that here. The cat's protection league. Very good people. I never give to the Salvation Army or Cancer Foundation, but I sure give money to the Cat's Protection League and SPCA. Earlier Pic of Moggy Noggins; he was an SPCA boy.

This three month old cutie came from the shelter to live with us just this past Friday. She is spunky and fearless and even gets along with the dogs. Still considering her name.

This is Mr. Elliott. 16 years old and unfortunately retired from ratting. He was ruthless in his younger days. I witnessed him take on a full size raccoon a few years back. He held his own. :)

johnco 08-31-2014 05:19 PM

this is my evil, dysfunctional cat. already have one cat named Cat so his name is Cattoo. he's also known as Little Bastard. destroyer of rolls of paper towels and toilet paper. he once turned 1/2 case of toilet paper into confetti in just one attempt. his hobbies include stealing paper money, razors and other objects and hiding them in other rooms, terrorizing my older female cat and causing me to bleed from hand/arm at least once every day. very good at ruining laptops by knocking over bottles of water onto the keyboard before I can catch it. score stands at Cattoo 3 John 0. always ready to lend a helping paw with everything I do from fixing water soaked laptops, cooking, typing and even trips to the bathroom which usually result in golden showers for him. follows, actually leads me everywhere which usually means I have to push him forward with my foot every other step

Question, we started reading a book about a guy who reluctantly razes cats... they are in the UK and refer to their cats as mogs or moggies? Is that a generic term for cats across the pond?

Sophie

That's a typical pose for her. She is a Bengal runt. She answers to me & will come when I call. Shes sleeps in my office while I work at home (visiting my lap at least once a day) & gets quite put out when I am out of town. She is a big cat & she can jump at least 6 feet. She is the clumsiest cat I have ever seen. A little over 2 years old.

Nigel being Nigel.
Owns his 2 humans and gets quite put off when you wake him up.
Everything and everyone is for his comfort/enjoyment.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1413576987.jpg

The other shoe dropped a few weeks ago

Ivan (the new kid on the block) is a hoot. My wife has already trained him to fetch. It is crazy - he'll go chase a shoelace then pick it up and bring it back every time.

matt f 10-17-2014 03:39 PM

Todd,

Congrats on getting Ivan.
Great looking young man.
Is he a "crazy Ivan?"
