Does the other side have a holster for my side-arm?
|
Remember when we carried our Blackberries and cellphones in belt holsters?
I might go back to that . . . If I got a 6+. |
|
25kg? Most people weigh more than 25 kg.

My iPhone lives in the back pocket of my jeans. Except when I take it out to use as an expensive and awkward pocket watch.

And I wouldn't expect a smartphone to support a person's weight. It's not a bridge.
25 kg applied to the middle of the phone, with both ends supported - if that is the test pictured in the article, I'm surprised the phone can pass it. Quote:

Bendy iPhones: accessory makers making rigid 'bumper' cases | Technology | theguardian.com
. STK Accessories, which makes iPhone and iPad accessories, has begun a crash program to build a “bumper” that will fit around the 5.5in 6 Plus to make it more resistant to bending. It comes after reports this week that some users had found the phones bending after carrying them in trouser pockets and subjected to stresses from sitting. |
Just epoxy 1/8" steel plate to the back of your 6.
|
Epoxy, hell! Just weld that sumb_tch.
|
"Excuse me is that a piece-of-unistrut-welded-to-an-iPhone in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"
Or just get a section of rolled steel, weld that bad boy onto there and market it as the "iBeam 6". You'll make millions! Sorry, construction industry humor... |
So sick of the controversy, I have developed Ibola.
|
I'm sick of it as well!
F'in up my portfolio. |
I kind of laugh every time a new Apple product comes out, all the breathless anticipation...
I've never really got the adoration of it all. I mean, I have set up and run Apple products, and have never really thought that they were that much better than their non-Apple competing products. And almost NEVER better than the price differential. Now that Steve is dead, I think we'll see Apple become more of a normal tech hardware company, so all of you holding APPL right now, think about how the launch of the last couple of products hasn't been nearly as breathtaking as the ones before. That trend, if you're a stockholder, has got to be a little troubling. |

I ended up with the 6+
Love it. Oh, and I keep my 9 in a holster. |
