o you use a money clip or wallet?

I carry three credit cards, my DL license, medical card, AAA, a few business cards, library card, receipts and cash. All of those are necessary but it makes my wallet pretty thick so I'm on a search for a really thin wallet. I'd try a money clip but I'm afraid stuff will fall out.

What do you have in your wallet? Do you use a cloth, nylon or leather billfold? Have you used a money clip? Are those things practical or merely stylish?

I hope you get an answer. I have the exact same issue about the receipts I need to turn in for work. I've been told several times to get a money clip, but I just don't know how people manage the stuff that aint green.

I like a thin wallet. I carry a handful of various types of cards and hang onto receipts. I've been using one of these for many, many years

Timberland zippered wallet
I cut the little change pocket out as soon as I buy it. Once that's gone, it's pretty thin. I like the zipper because I just stick the receipts in the middle and zip it shut.

This is my new 6cc +2 wallet.

It has a smaller removable section that carries your licence and two credit cards only.
I carry that when I'm walking.

I use a leather wallet and keep it as thin as possible with cash and credit cards, driv. lic, etc.
When I go out at night - usually to eat out - I put 1 credit card, drivers lic., and a couple of Benjis in a money clip because I don't want the bulk of the wallet.
I likes to roll slender, you knows.
.
Never lost anything out of a money clip.
.
BTW, when I find a good slender leather wallet that I like, I buy two.
Still have a new one from 8 - 10 yrs. ago.
Same with most apparel that i like and it fits - buy a couple or more.

Had the same question a couple of years ago and found several posts recommending Makr on some of the car forums. Its way more than I would normally spend on that sort of thing but you can't argue the quality. It doesn't 'wear' so much as it ages and takes on character. I keep my Amex, Visa, and ATM card in one internal, and my DL, health insurance, and company CC in the other internal. I fold cash in half and keep it in the external, kind of like a money clip but more secure. Carrying all that, its still about a third the size of a typical billfold. If you could cut a card or two, you'd be doing even better.

Wow, doesn't look like it gets much thinner than that.

I've been using a leather all-et slim that a now passed pelicans family makes. I really like it.
Leather Wallets for Men, Mens Wallets- All-ETT Wallet

I have one of these ordered. Hope to get it soon and that I like it as much as the old one.
Common Fibers » CF-Lex

I like a slim wallet because I carry it in my right front pocket.

I agree they do work well but what about your ID and Bank/Credit Cards?

Thin leather wallet here. Carry cash, credit cards, medical insurance card,AAA and of course PCA membership card ! Never been a problem but you have to have some discipline on what you stuff in there, if you don't you'll end up with the George Costanza file organizer !!!

Thin wallet. It's useful to do a regular purge as well, toss out any old insurance cards, gift cards, etc that might be hiding in there. I hate having a fat wallet.

Tumi makes a leather wallet with a money clip in the center. Best of both worlds and much thinner than a traditional wallet. On my 2nd one...first lasted 10 years and now my son uses it. Do a google search as you'll play hell finding one at the mall.

I have the same wallet for 15 years. There is no money in it just the necessary cards, DL and ID. Bills in my left pocket and change in my right pocket.

I have not regularly carried cash in decades.

If I know I'll need cash I shove a wad in my front pocket.

If I need it unexpectedly I've never not found a convenient ATM.

The only things I carry are , DL, a credit card, a debit card, medical ins card.

All in a phone case similar to this,

It limits what I can carry which is good for me.

When I used to carry a wallet and money clip I found I carried way more stuff than I really needed.

vacation- a simple clip or rubber band. Daily I have something that resembles a simple wallet that had a money clip and holds my DL.

Leather Moneyclip that I bought at Fossil 15 years ago, still in decent shape. Hods6-8 CC, my DL & health insurance card, and a magnetic flap for money. I like it and will buy another when it wears out.

This one is very similar: Fossil Ingram Magnetic Multicard Wallet| FOSSIL&reg Wallets
