The waitress even commented on it and she seemed fairly impressed....

My New 'Thing'...I carry my own Coaster and use it...
Pffft! Mines thicker.
Just kidding. Mine is a sandbag weight for holding down maps and plan sheets. Funny thread.

I haven't seen a 'shot bag' (that's what we called them back in the day & actually contained lead shot - OSHA would probably have something to say about that nowadays) since I worked in drafting/engineering office in the 'pre-cad' era. I've since have found myself in a number of situations where they would've proved most useful. Cheers JB
