My New 'Thing'...I carry my own Coaster and use it...

Came up with the idea this week while traveling. I friend actually thought it would be funny and if any one could make it work and not get punched, laughed at or insulted it was me! Hmmmm.... maybe I was set up but I tried it this week and frankly it gave me a sense of refinement while producing smiles from all that witnessed...

At a bar...

on a plane...

for breakfast...

at the work bench...

or at the computer...

So bring your special coaster and have some fun!

Well. That is random and exciting!!

Do you keep your coaster in a holster?

I think we need more details on the coaster. The specs will be important for anyone that's pulled in by what will surely be a growing trend.

You'd have to get a counter-clockwise coaster.

Yes, be that person that brings sophistication to the pub or picnic while embarrassing your teenaged offspring. Made of full, top-grain leather, hand stitched with a felt backing. Ideal for causal or fine dining. Pairs well with wine, beer, tepid water, iced tea or any beverage that may produce a condensation ring. Be the one that stands out while fitting in. Order yours now while supplies last!

It doubles as a pastie.

Nothing says cultural refinement more than beer in a can. Except maybe a 40 ounce beer in a can.

I guess if hipsters aren't doing it, it can't be too bad. I am imagining in my mind the "WTF?" thinking of someone who sees you whip out your own coaster. It says "offbeat" or "eccentric" without saying "whoa, that's pretty weird".

Case in point: Tecate. The only beer I've seen people under the age of 21 give away because of how foul it was.

^^"Schlitz Lite" also makes that list. I used to think there was no such thing as 'bad beer' until I had a can of that (25 yrs. ago). Do they even make that stuff any more?

Cheers
