new Lanborghini hybrid is hot
Wow, I think this is one of the best looking Lamborghinis in a while. Not that they are usually unattractive, but this one really strikes a chord for me. Maybe it's got hints of Miura in the back half, and that's why I like it so much. I'm a sucker for some of the 50s and 60s car styles.

That's a beautiful Lamborgini. It's a shame it won't be produced but maybe the styling will make it to a new model.

30 miles between charges. How long between battery fires?

But, I'm sure the push towards this sort of thing will drive new tech that will trickle down to pedestrian hybrid cars, and that makes it worthwhile. I think hybrid tech is pretty cool, better than pure electric. I haven't kept up with it, but I assume most require the IC for propulsion at times. It would be nice if they could get to the point that the IC was purely for power generation. If I had silly money, would I buy a 918, maybe. But probably not until after I had a CGT. Who knows, I'd need to test drive both first, and I don't think anyone would let me behind the wheel of either.

Looks very conservative for a Lambo... Looks more like Ferrari lines.

I agree and I think that's why I like this car. It does not seem so over the top in styling.

I don't like any of the modern super cars - Ferrari, Lambo, etc. All of them are a bit much with over-the-top styling. They've all lost those beautiful lines and curves.
But... the hybrid Lambo is a very, very good looking car, nicer than anything in a long time. Too bad they won't build it.

Not that I am their target market, but I don't find any of the hybrid supercars to be appealing. I want a fantastic driving experience, not to simply manage the operation of a dozen computers. All of the hybrid supercars are amazing technological achievements, but I don't want to drive a computer. Despite the fact that it's a faster and more efficient car, I've read several reviews that prefer the Carrera GT experience over the 918 due to the more direct connection to the driver.

Like the looks, but trash the absurd waste of hybrid tech. Jeezuz, how much HP does one need? Extra this and that. Nope.
Keep it simple, enter Alfa 4C If its reliable, this is what I call a supercar With respect to staying with the topic, won't blow out the screen image: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-OKc-rUEmTJw/T8TP6TV815I/AAAAAAAADR8/Vu_8fEQelso/s1600/2012-Alfa-Romeo-4C-Front-Side.jpg http://www.gtspirit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Image0000213.jpg http://wallhud.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Alfa-Romeo-4C-White-Wallpaper-HD.jpg

I like it! Kinda emits a Ferrari F550/565, Miura and GT40 vibe. With a little R8 mixed in.
