Favorite 10/22 accessories?

Hello,

Anybody have any good websites or recommendations for your favorite 10/22 Accessories?

I'm really itching to degrade and destroy some paper and tin cans etc. and want to prepare myself.

Thanks!

This is a great site for the 10/22. It doesn't need any accesories to enjoy, but fortunately it can be as much fun to modify as it is to shoot.

Cabella and Cheaper Than Dirt have pretty extensive add-ons, etc.

Some of the rifles in the link E Sully posted are simply incredible.

The target side of shooting .22's is where I spend a few sheckles.

This was the best $20 I ever spent. All you can do is laugh when you try it the first time. I want to try it on my ARs.

Hold on to your wallet.

My favorites are a lever style mag release (KIDD or the one from ebay seller steguns29), replacement barrel, replacement stock.

I've got 2 - one will stay looking factory, it came with an awesome tiger striped maple(?) stock. Will have trigger work done, and maybe chamber set back a hair and recut. About $100 worth of smithing all told.

The other I'm having more trigger work done, have replaced barrel (Green Mountain heavy 22"), stock (Boyds Tacticool), will be bedding it, and maybe have bolt work done.

I dropped in a Timney trigger and it provides a nice clean 3lb break.

Funny, with everything one can do with a 10/22, I love my original, dead stock, unaltered carbine. All I ever did was put a Williams peep sight on it. Bought one for each of my boys when they were young, and they remain unaltered as well. Granted, I fully understand how much fun can be had by customizing these things, but don't sell them short as they come right out of the box. Fun little guns...

I'm thinking about a .22 in either semi-auto or pump.
Henry makes a really pretty pump.......Ruger, a nice wood stock semi-auto.
Rossi quit making their pump.
Any favorites here?

IMO the best thing you can buy for a 10/22 is a bolt action .22.

beyond that I'd get a box of clay targets. cheap and even a single target will give you several hits before you don't see the orange too well at 100yds.

I believe we all make mistakes but I will not validate your poor choices and/or perversions and subsidize the results your actions.

Rem 572, Browning BPR, the old classic Savages, Remingtons, Winchesters, etc. from the early 1900s.

I like the old Winchester pump "gallery guns" and the Browning semi-auto .22 rifle.

Yeah, and the 03 Springfield was better than the Garand.

Some truth to that. Put my Savage bolt gun up against several high dollar 10/22 builds and clones. Beat all except a KIDD SuperGrade

That said I just sold my Savage to pay for some new glass for my 10/22 build
