dunk-o-ween
So for Halloween every year we have Boo at the Zoo - we turn our teaching zoo into a trick-or-treating maze.
This year, basketball season opens on Halloween as well... so our marketing guys put together... DUNK-O-WEEN !

Our local zoo does the same type of thing. It is a very popular treat for the kids. They can go to a safe environment and get lots of candy and goodies. It goes on for several days before the big Halloween night.

We only do it the one night for about 5 hours, but we get 5500 to 6000 kids every year. Right now we have 25 55 gallon drums full of candy to be given out....

I helped out one time. I handed out fresh popped popcorn. Virtually none of the kids wanted any and virtually all the moms did.
- Oklahoma City Zoo My mom was a docent at the zoo for 30 years. She was out there more than anyplace else. She loved the place.
