Autocrossers have nothing on this guy...
Ok technically it's a motorcycle course... But this guy has skills. Sorry if a repost. It's an old video but it came up on my Facebook newsfeed and thought I would share:

Yep seen it before and he still blows my mind ! Great slow speed handling skills.
Surprising how little the foot pads drag while laid over. |

Harley-Davidson used to offer a police riding course that includes this sort of thing - I wonder if that's what this is. The guys who are good at this modulate speed and add control by riding the front brake, sometimes pretty heavily. And they learn to be unafraid of doing turns at full steering lock, the way this guy is doing.
The Harley course also included sections of off-road riding on a fully loaded police bike, formation riding in traffic - it's more complicated than you might think - and more.

One of my late uncles was a motorcycle cop for many years. He loved that thing. I never saw him riding it when he didn't have a big, fat stogie hanging out of his mouth.

My best friend was an NYPD motorcycle cop. Always blew me away the way he could handle that tank of a bike. He says a huge amount of control is made just using the throttle.

The awesome thing too is that he remembers the course so well, esp. those where he makes figure eights or something...
