Wow. I thought some US truck drivers were a bit oblivious but that is over the top. I wonder if it was some road rage on the part of the truck driver. The Cayenne's driver was obviously tailgating and maybe the truck driver did a brake check.

When you are driving a truck that weighs 80,000 pounds fully loaded, you really don't notice a few thou extra. And where that SUV is lodged, he would have a difficult or impossible time seeing it in his mirrors.

Maybe the SUV is just a very dedicated hypermiler?

Would love the backstory on that one!

The Cayenne driver was sufficiently alert to turn on the emergency flasher. Maybe the collision woke him/her up.

looks like it may have put them to sleep...

...with the fishes so to speak.

But how in the hell did the hazards get turned on. Hell, I can't imagine even being able to get to the button in that situation.

When most newer cars are wrecked the flashers come on automatically. Same with unlocking doors, and shutting off fuel pumps.

You would think that the other truckers would have blocked him and slowed to stop.
The lack of concern by others is disgusting.

I knew Cayennes were the most powerful SUV on the road but this proves it. Being able to push an 18 wheeler uphill that is amazing.

Truly horrible.

I hope the occupants didn't suffer a horrible death but whatever happened it must have been quick.

Millions of new drivers in a country that doesn't have a driving culture.....imagine THOUSANDS of new asshats doing 100km plus on the road every damn day.....just weeks from driving the family Yak at 3km.
