This morning my wife opened the garage door to leave and found what was left of one of the rabbits that live in my yard. Not what I wanted to deal with after just getting out of bed and no coffee.

Pic taken in a neighbors yard. Coyote would have made more of a mess.

Seems like a very careful dissection, I thought cat. A cat started showing up in my yard, not quite the same as yours though.

Between that cat and that dog, I'd bet on the feline. They ate the entrails - not much to complain about...

Is that inside your garage or just outside? Hope you were not too attached to the bunny.

Just outside the garage door. Was not a pet but I still like having them around even though they poop all over the yard. I enjoy watching nature. Lots of interesting creatures around here. Tons of raptors which are great fun to watch hunt. A red tail dropped a live baby dove in front of my daughter over the summer. We snatched it up and nursed it till it was able to fly off on its own. We do have a couple of mountain lions that people have snapped pics of. Still waiting to see one myself. Thankfully they stick to the woods and don't come inside the hood. Least not that we know of.

They did not get all the entrails. The dark lump a couple feet away from the carcass in the second pic is the pelt and had some giblets still attached. Whatever did it did a pretty good job of skinning the rabbit. Peeled it like a one piece suit.

All the pictures - impressive. I would have expected to see more blood at the scene though. Perhaps the kitty licked that up too? Disagree on the kitty vs pooch - IMO that pooch would make quick work of that kitty - if he could catch him.
