Chupacabra ?? I can rule out a fox. When I lived on the edge of a canyon, foxes would bring their rabbits into my front yard outside my bedroom window to eat. They ate everything except for the entrails which they left in a pile. I kept hearing crunching noises outside my window & couldn't figure out what was going on until I spotted a fox eating one night.

We have red tails and smaller hawks I call "chicken hawks".
I was driving home one day and I see what I think are two pigeons flying in front of me a little down the street... suddenly the "pigeon" behind and above dives and BAM! Feathers fly and they both drop to the ground... it was a hawk and about the same size as the pigeon he just dispatched... I stopped in the middle of the road and turned on my emergency blinkers on so the hawk wouldn't get run over. Much to my surprise in a minute after the pigeon expired he up and flew away with his huge kill.

That cat is beautiful - serval? The ears don't look big enough... Bobcat? Spots are usually bigger.

That dog looks like canine roid rage waiting to happen!

Eh, rabbits are Nature's kibble. It fed a much cooler animal, I'd wager.

To be fair, the dog would probably bring the same kind of presents home......but that dog would devastate an average bobcat.

Juvenile Bobcat.

That one was from last springs litter. IIRC less than a year old when that pic was taken.

One of the reasons to be selective with the plantings in the yards around here.

Too dense and you end up with a litter.

There is no way that pit bull has anything for that wiley fast-cat, that cat would disembowel that dog so quick he wouldn't even whimper....about like a sumo wrestler against a Ninja.

No Pit Bull, Cane Corso's are actually Mastiffs....while they have a bulky Pit build, they're a good bit taller, bulkier and significantly faster.

They're descendants of the dogs Romans used in warfare and in hunting bears.
There's a guy in Georgia that uses them to cull wild hogs. One good sized Corso can bring down a hog twice its weight without a problem.

Not a Pit.

Cane Corso, also known as an Italian Mastiff. It's a true Molosser.

Mastiff's are massive animals that are also deceptively quick and agile, explosive is a good description.

Having owned several Mastiffs I would not give a Bobcat much chance in a streetfight.

I have a couple of Russian neighbors that do that. I can tell it's them from the empty vodka bottle left nearby.

We have a big old Maine Coon weighing nearly 18 pounds and he eats all sorts of critters, mostly palm rats, Possums, mice and even lizards now and then. We don't have a rabbit issue but he might be why but when he eats, the head makes a really loud crunch when he chews it up! There have been a few times when he has brought them in the house not not many!

Coyote. I've seen them leave exactly that result.
