Toe Kick saw rental - in my zip - $15 for 4 hrs, $21 for a day. And be done with it!

This puppy is what you really need, but for that cut use a sawzall. I an one of whose wierd dude that like to mount the blade upside down to get into tight places. This is one of those situation to do so for a lower angle of attack on the OSB.

This thing. Well, I was a little afraid of it at first when I came across it about 10 or 15 years ago at a trade show. It really doesn't kick like a chain saw, but you gotta hold on to the damn thing. Its not a cutting tool like a chain saw, not at all, even through its a chain saw rapped around a disk. Its more or a grinding tool. It will grind or remove wood so fast and efficient with great control. I have a few hanging around. Great for notching out lumber if a Skill saw is on the other side of the room.

Okay, so just wanted to post an update on this thread. I bought a blade with a convex angle on the cutting edge, but my $20 harbour freight sawzall crapped out- imagine that (RIP), so I bought a new sawzall...only to find out the blade didn;t cut so well... so I bought the DREMEL tool. Worked well. The depth stop really worked well. The motor is strong for what it is. The only thing semi annoying about it is there is a funky safety switch on the handle, but I could see how this saw could get put on the floor, stepped on, and go flying off across the floor, I guess it makes sense. Still need to trim out some more of the 1/2 inch board, but it worked pretty good. Thanks everyone.
p.s- I still want to buy look171's chainsawblade thingee pictured above someday!
