When I replace laptop drives I pick up an external firewire case. I'm partial to these, have 3, macally PHRS100SUA 3.5" Silver SATA 1 x eSATA 2 x IEEE 1394a FireWire 1 x USB 2.0 Hard Drive Enclosure - Newegg.com

Pull the old drive, slap in case, install new blank drive in laptop, boot from external, run SuperDuper to clone your current drive to the new one. If no issues after a trial run wipe old drive and it makes a nice portable storage extender.

Anybody want to buy this Ram? Newegg is going to ding me $18 to restock it. I will pay the shipping to you if you will send me the $120 that I paid for it? Heck I'd even let it go for $115 to a pelican!
