My plan for whirled peas
Was driving home today when a big golden retriever in a fenced-in yard caught my eye. He was staring intently across the street. On that side was a guy in his yard, he was looking at the dog too and starting to walk across the street so I had to slow down and let him cross. The dog starts to jump up on the fence, tail wagging, super happy. I pass and in my rearview mirror see the dog standing up, front legs on top of the fence, going crazy loving this guy, who's petting him.
There must be a chemical in dogs' brains that makes them so incredibly, genuinely happy. We need to find that chemical and get it into the drinking water. Instant world peace.

The same chemicals in these brains....
Carlton Freeman
80-years old | Harleyville, SC Carlton Freeman, 80-years old, was dragged from his wheelchair by four dogs and savagely attacked. Freeman was a double leg amputee as a result of diabetes. Dorchester County Coroner Chris Nisbet said that Freeman was going down the side of the road in his wheelchair when the dogs attacked. He was taken to Trident Hospital where he died four days later. "He had bites and lacerations from his legs to the top of his head," Nisbet wrote in a news release. "Mr. Freeman was basically helpless [against] the attack." Neighbors said the dogs had been roaming the area for months. Barbara Goodwin, also a neighbor, admitted to caring for three of the dogs. Authorities seized those dogs; each had traces of blood on their fur. Freeman's family members, who witnessed the attack, identified all four dogs as pit bulls. During the investigation, deputies determined all four dogs to be feral and did not belong to any one person. At the request of the victim and his family, no charges were brought. 2013 U.S. Dog Bite Fatalities - Dog Bite Statistics - DogsBite.org

We can learn a lot from dogs. My son got a dog, and when he yelled at it for something it peed on the floor. It taught him to be gentle and patient with the dog. I'm going to try that with my wife. She yells at me, I'll pee on the floor. That should calm her down.
It could work for whirrled peas too. Janitors at the UN would get sick of mopping up pee and tell everyone to just chill out and be nice to each other or they'll rub their noses in it.

G'day!

I already have it all figured out.
Move out in the woods somewhere and take as many dogs with you as possible. Problem solved!

Dunno. Didn't work for our hippy-dog, circa 1972
The old hound's name was Reefer. Honest. He ate a bag of (cheap Mexican) weed, which was on the coffee table. Wandered out onto 12th ave, in Calgary, got hit by a car. |

The heck with dogs, we need to get the chemical I get in my brain when I am with my grandkids. Even better, we need to bottle their enthusiasm and energy. If you could somehow make something that would give you the energy of an 8 year old boy, that would be priceless. Tiny dose would probably kill my fat old ass though, either that or make me sleep for 14 hours in a row.
