7-up...what the heck?

Not sure if there has been a recent change or if this batch (cans) has an issue but something isn't right. Tastes like several things have been omitted. Anyone else?

Welcome to the world today. I was eating a Hershey bar the other day, noticing it sure didn't taste like those years ago. I don't eat them often, so noticed the difference. I won't be eating them or any of the other candy bars anymore. Nothing is like it used to be. Every producer of any consumer product is cutting as many corners as possible to keep prices down. In the future things will be only mere facsimiles of the true products they are supposed to be.

High Fructose Corn Syrup instead of sugar. It's ruined everything.

I few weeks ago I had a can of 7up. Told my wife it was not the same as it used to be. My dad commented on it as well.

Have you tried a Ding Dong lately? It's some piece of stale cake covered with brown wax.

Really hope this isn't a another example of new and improved. IMO, 7-up is (was?) leagues better than Sprite and one of the few softdrinks I really enjoyed...and I really don't care about people on my lawn as it's covered in snow at the moment.

Have you noticed that company, Cadbury Schweppes, doesn't put a readable date on their products. That is why I no longer buy their products.

It could be a year old.

I don't buy stuff with HFCS, end up making a lot of stuff from scratch

You can still get good soda pop, you just have to look a little.

Galco is the place. They even have a little sandwich places in there just like it was in the old days. You should see their beer selection. Its a couple of miles from my house, very cool place.

Can you still get an erection, or is it now swinging lifelessly in the breeze as it were?

I've noticed a 7-up aftertaste to Mtn. Dew lately.
Odd.

I feel the same way with Coca-Cola. I've been buying the Mexican Coca-Cola because its made with pure cane sugar. Other than not being able to read the label, it tastes great.

I hardly drink soda pop anymore, but when I do, that Mexican Coca-Cola is on my list of approved beverages. The Mexican fruit drinks taste better as well, though a bit on the very sweet side.

I just went to a tamale making cooking class, the Mexican spices and Chocolate is undeniably richer and tastier.
