I do most of my Christmas shopping online, and I save beaucoup bucks. Saves the gas cost, time, and eliminates the hassle of crowded stores.

Many places will have a customer appreciation, or "residents of" day. Naples Zoo has a free day each month for residents on Collier county FL. Many state parks also have a free day.
Just last month Florida had a free salt water fishing day. One of four free days per year requiring no fishing license. Didn't CA have a gun amnesty day, I think it was a free day to turn in your weapons.

On your birthday you can get a free meal at Denny's. Not sure what kind of guy has to go to Denny's on his birthday but hey, it is free.

A Porsche Dealer sent me 4 x Chrome/Enamel Plate Brackets last week for free ... even paid the FedEx ... and I have never attended that dealership or ever met the person who sent them.

Disclaimer: This is what I do.
From mid- May to mid-October each year in Annapolis Royal Nova Scotia, you can visit North America's Tidal Power Plant free of charge. The Interpretive Centre is open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM and a Heritage Interpreter (either Henry or I) will explain the workings of the plant and it's fit into the local environment and the current forays into tidal power. Conditions permitting, you may have the opportunity to go underground into the plant itself, again free of charge. This opportunity is provided through Nova Scotia Power. We had over 11,000 visitors in 2014. Hope you can join us. Best Les

I'm still waiting for my free piece of the Porsche test track from a few years ago. Did anyone here ever receive theirs? I did a search here for the thread but couldn't find it.

Anyone remember the "Free Battery" card from Radio Shack? I used to use it to get free 9 volt batteries for my guitar pedals.
