I'm 60 and have a few years to go. I probably could retire, but the wonderful travel that I get paid to take (just got back from two weeks in NZ and AU is too hard to pass up. Plus the wifey needs 2-3 more years to maximize her pension.

How long was your commute?

The drive was 45 miles door to door. Some days I could do it in 40 mins. Other days might be 1- 2 hrs. Which has been getting closer to the norm. Open road wouldn't be so bad. Not the case when its bumper to bumper. Plus add in gas and tolls.
