Are there any Cushman Eagle (1950s) collectors?

I wouldn't mind a scoot for Newport Beach. The Japanese and China junk bore me. The Italian is overpriced. So Vintage American is my next choice.

Cushman seems to have neat stuff that have been over restored and selling pretty cheap or comparatively so.

I'd never hear of Cushman so I did a search... Very cool.

Who knew the Americans made cool scooters? These must be rare.

8 hp, suicide clutch, 125cc? 4 stroke. Cushman made meter maid carts as well. So did Harley.

edit:
My bad, 351cc flathead single. Kinda ghey but I don't care. http://auto.howstuffworks.com/1958-cushman-eagle-and-pacemaker.htm

Do it!!!

I have a Zuma 50cc two stroke for our city putting. Nothing like a little scooter to zip around cars and at the beach. Good for wine touring, too... fly under the radar

Another cool one and I even like the colour. Seriously is Cushman the best kept secret ever?

My wife's grandparents had a large barn at their farm. There was an old Cushman scooter pushed off in a corner of the hay loft covered with an old tarp. I drooled on it but there was a long line of relatives wanting it. In the end it went to a good home.

That barn was full of old tractors, several of them steam powered. It was cool.

When I was a kid, the older guys were riding Cushman Eagles and Lambrettas.

A few had Vespa scooters. Sears-Allstate sold these, too.

Occasionally a Triumph Tiger Cub.
