Are you hinting that you want me to post a photo of my Puma Skinner? Well, if you insist... Bought it well over 40 years ago at Gemco (remember that chain?) for $39+. They're selling for well over $100 used these days. . ~~~~~~ . http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1423954704.jpg |

two big ones arrived this week (thanks Slodave!) They are paperslicing, hairpopping sharp right out of the box! |
You are welcome! Sorry for the delay. Also sorry that customs dinged you. Tried to avoid that.
|
yeah, I know.
It was indicated as a gift, you did mention the price of the item. I saw it on the box. Don't know why customs contacted me for the additional info, probably because they are just plain stupid ... On a brighter note, I did manage to find a good (cheap) vendor in Belgium. So I immediately ordered 2 Becker BK13 neck knives... :D:D (Itching to buy another BK2 as well, like the first one you sent me) |
This whole knife buying doesn't seem so challenging to me... :D:D
|
I printed the USPS label from my parents computer... I had to fill out all boxes to move to the next step. I HAD to enter a price on the web page. :D Whatever, glad it actually made it to you.

Trying to build a patina. Lemonade anyone?
http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...631faf3f0a.jpg |
There are lots of nice ways to force a patina on your blade.
Lemons, onions, vinegar, apple vinegar, tabasco... I tried one with vinegar once but found it to be washed of rather easily.. How are you keeping it sharp, Vash? Stones, lansky, worksharp? |
