Football is changing very rapidly, only a matter of lawsuits I mean time before the NHL follows...

"Terrible Ted" is connected to Mr Lindsay as Mr Hockey is to Gordie Howe.
Don't know much about hockey. Eh? Hoser. :p |
And all the Marchand haters have gotten suddenly quiet when they haven't said ANYTHING about Carcillo. Thus, exposing their bias.
Carcillo suspended six games for cross-checking Perreault | ProHockeyTalk As I stated earlier. Its not about anger against the penalty. It is about loving to hate Marchand. |

There are many dicks in the league. Carcillo is right up there, he's worse than Marchand. But they are both dicks.
I don't see any irrational hate for Mar-shond, Mar-shant, Mar-shart or whatever he wants to be called this week. You reap what you sow. |
I don't hate Marchand, just his guts! ;) (Read that here somewhere and thought it was pretty funny...) No bias against him at all.
Check this out. http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2015/01/17/bruins-brad-marchand-his-suspension-could-worse/0g1OGMfWMc0H2hDhWO4pAK/story.html?comments=all&sort=NEWEST_CREATE_DT I like the quote from Marchand in the headline. It seems clear that he expected the suspension and fine to be much more harsh than the measly 2 games. Carcillo got what he deserved for the cross check. His next offence (and it will most likely happen) the suspension should be longer and the fine greater. This is what will make sense to repeat offenders. |
Flyers’ Rinaldo suspended eight games for his hit on Letang | ProHockeyTalk
Once again. Not one stinking peep out of anyone on far worse actions. But hey, you can go on and on about how bad Marchand was when he got two games. No bias here. |

Didn't see the game or the replays of the hit. Glad to see the NHL stepping up their action on these knuckleheads. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!SmileWavy |
If you have time to watch other knuckleheads in action, I found this site while looking for a list of suspensions for this year.
Some pretty boneheaded plays and also some interesting fines for diving! 2014-15 NHL Suspension Tracker - Sportsnet.ca |
Apparently slew-footing isn't so bad if it isn't Marchand doing it:
Video: John Tavares slew-footing Brad Marchand | ProHockeyTalk |
Not even close to being as dangerous of a hit.
Not clean though. As far as a suspension is concerned, there was no call on the ice, no injury. No history for John Tavares and I would wager that it was payback for a cheap shot from your favorite Bruin. Maybe a fine. Maybe... I guess it isn't so bad if the recipient is Marchand!;) |

Check this attempted hit by Marchand on the Canadian's Weise.
Marshand skates in from behind his target, unloads into the guy his skates leaving the ice on the attempted hit. Unfortunately for Marschand, Weise is handling the puck and has his elbow up and guess who hits the ice? He did have a good game up to that point. Scored a goal and quite a few shots on net. He left the game and didn't return. No release of info just yet. Out with a concussion.
No timetable as of yet for his return. Boston Bruins injury news: Brad Marchand suffered concussion against Montreal Canadiens | masslive.com |
Jeez & I always thought his head was nothing more than an agglomeration of 2500 psi concrete & other assorted bits of detritus!!
Seriously though, concussions & their cumulative effects are (& should be) a matter of of great concern to us all. Much as I detest the little $ch1tt, I would never wish injury upon him or anyone - unless of course, they're an ISIS acolyte (asshat) Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to our American Brothers & Sisters Cheers JB |
