Keep it. The Csi is as close as BMW got to a production M8. Even with all the downsides of the 8 series, you wont find another one.

Thats why I am getting rid of most of it
I drive my machines and I drive them hard.
I am now considering some bucket seats or some Recaro CS

Really? Those Recaro made BMW sport seats are among my favorites.

I had 2 classic cars at the same time for about a year. The problem I had, and you might too, is devoting enough time to either one to enjoy both. Its like having 2 girlfriends. Which one to drive today? Boy, that pinkish 850 is most beautiful, I'd like to have that one in my garage.

I like the seats in the Audi, but the best for your 850 would be the adjustable BMW seats. You retain access to the back seats, and they would be more comfortable for all.

Agreed. The CS's have a nice look, but the adjustable BMW seats are more in character with the car, more comfortable, and very supportive for how luxurious they are. Plus, the totally match the interior.

What adjustable bow seats are you talking about?

Can't speak for Bryan, but I believed he meant the seats already in the car

If you don't need the money, I vote keep it. Very different cars, both cool in their own way.

I'd say keep it.... I've always wanted an e31. I have an e28 M5 ad and e24 635, the e31's are a beautiful design.... one day I'll add one to the collection.

I think it's going to be best if I just keep the car and add a 911.

Andre, why are you averse to owning 2 cars? Once you're older, insurance for a 2nd car is almost free. If you've got the room for 2 cars, and the spare cash, try owning 2 cars. It's also great to not be forced to always finish a DIY project the same day b/c you need the car to drive to work tomorrow.

If at all possible financially, I would get both cars and decide then. Definitely not ahead of time. It also depends on what type of driving you plan on. Do you do track events? Autobahn runs (looks like you are in Europe?). The 930 is much more of a sports car / track weapon than the 850 ever will be. The 850 is a great GT car.

Definitely keep both. I was looking at 850 BMWs when I bought my 560SEC a few years ago and sometimes I wonder what ownership would have been like with the V12. The 560SEC has served me well but has cost me a fair but to play catch-up on the deferred maintenance by the past few owners and to make the car "right". The 850 is such a beautifully styled car..timeless from every angle.
