King Tut's Beard was Broken and The Repair is a Hack Job
This is amazing. The mindset of the repair guys is quite incredible.
Boggles my mind to see this done to this artifact. Wow. Beard of Egypt's King Tut hastily glued back on with epoxy

The attitude was to get it fixed before anyone found out. Very common and almost always leads to more trouble when discovered.

Saw this on the news yesterday. Amazing to me that they didn't just have the thing repaired properly by an expert. But this is Egypt, after all, where the situation is a long way from normal. Whatever normal is there.

I had several very large, 50-60 year old Inuit soap stone carvings repaired after the Northridge Earthquake. They were fixed by a restorer recommended by the Getty Museum. Cost me a lot of $, but I look at them 20+ years later, and I've long ago forgotten about the cost.

Man, the damage shown in the first pic is bad. I think I could have done a better job. But really, should have been sent to a professional. Cannot turn back time and the damage is done now.

Very sad.
![]() When I was 19 or 20-ish all of Tut's display was loaned to the ROM, Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. I asked my friends if they wanted to go, it had nothing to do strippers and beer so they said it was a stupid waste of money. I went by myself, it was expensive for young lad, I spent the whole day at the museum. The tut exhibit was amazing. It was just one of the things that made me come to the conclusion that I needed to get my ass in gear...and find better friends.

Excuse me?
Maybe you too have been swept by the lie? Look it up. Not one was ( mommy )ever found in a pyramid. ! Not even the sealed ones that were not robbed . ( like some open ones said to be robbed ) Notice how the so called Egyptology camera will show artifacts then show pyramids? Its a Trick. They dont show the cave type graves dug in the ground where all this is actually found. No nothing except some bones of one female to a not so sure was found in one pyramid. It was not a mummy. No inscriptions to Pharaohs in the Pyramids . This alone indicates they were not ever built to their tribute. No nothing ! LOL

You may wish to study this a little more. Unless you were talking about your mommy. Can't help you there.
All I want to hear is that at least one mummy was found in one pyramid. It doesn't have to be one of the big ones, it could be one of the smaller ones that often were built near a bigger one. There's well over a hundred of the damn things, so get busy. Here's a little music to study by: |
