Garage

While maybe not graffiti in the conventional sense - pretty cool stuff

Cheers

Coming from the BMX guy. Hilarious.

I remember when they put up all these murals along the 101 freeway in downtown LA for the Olympics. Always loved them. Over the years, they got tagged up and ruined. Glad to see they are being restored...

I also recall an artist making a fake freeway sign to help people merge from the 110 to the 5. An act of helpful graffiti.

There is a certain awkwardness to the whole thing... especially the lettering which is mostly leaning to the right instead of the usual free-looking left leaning lettering... that makes me think that the tagger figured out a way to attach his spray cans to a long, lightweight pole and reached out from the edge of the freeway where you were driving.

Can you estimate the distance he'd have to reach with a pole?

I bet he stopped his car late one night, put on the flashers, and was probably done in less than a minute.

I wish that the mindless yob(s) that graffitti'd my building had been caught. I seriously would have requested that the judge sentence them to licking the walls clean, and that they not be released until either they had died of paint poisoning or bled to death from their worn out tongue(s), or preferably had completed the job. This would surely discourage other such scum.
