Have you looked at RS cars? I saw a few in the mid 100s on ebay...

Carrera RS or RS America?

I read somewhere that of the original 1560 Carrera RS's made, only 20,000 of them still exist.

There is a fellow who lives a few miles from me with two 964s (a Speedster and an RS America, both in fantastic condition).

I wonder if he realizes that with those in his garage the value of his house has effectively doubled.

Does anyone else besides me have their fingers in their ears waiting for a great big POP sound?

The bubble will burst but the new normal will be the median between pre-bubble and top bubble price. Then the prices will slowly start to climb again.

I'm still looking for deals, very few and far between.

Two excellent examples of what not to buy. Call me stupid but I actually like driving my cars.

A friend of mine owns a late E Type Jag that has traveled just over 40,000kms total (24854.85 Miles).
That car is driven three or four times a year.

And I do like this interior.

+1,000,000

Don't be in a hurray. There are always deals out there if you're patient.

I'm looking at an early 80s Rolls-Royce Corniche right now for almost give away money. (Coupe not convertible with low mileage in excellent condition)
The owner has reduced the price to $22,000. He's been trying to sell the car for over 18 months.
The same car is worth at least double that in the UK.
