I've had three leathermans "lost" in my checked baggage.. I've gotten to the point of only taking one to sites when they are packed in my tool shipments or if I'm checking a tool bag. Rarely have I had a whole tool bag go missing. It's a little more obvious.

A tiffany jewelry ad poped up when i clicked on the link. So that kinda settles it. I do like the idea of it being a watch band. I dont understand the craze of parachord jewelry. I think men just use the manliness factor as an excuse to make jewelry without being rideculed for it. But thats a big fail in my book. Id rather see a man making real jewely that requires real craft working with metal

My buddy got me a Bear Gerber straight-blade knife a few years ago for my b-day. I don't know the cost, but it is a very nice knife--the sheath has a built-in sharpening stone, removable fire starter, the butt of the grip is reinforced for hammering, serrated top, oh yeah and the whistle on the pommel cord.

It's my go-to hunting/fishing/camping knife.

I lost several pairs of sunglasses and a couple of nice pocket knives in checked bags over the years.
