Still, it doesn't speak well for this item. Gadget Boy has this one pegged.

Dunno... a little surprised this is getting such a bad rap... a bracelet that looks like it would turn your arm into hamburger in the event of an accident?

Or is it that a man wearing any bracelet may be considered to be of alternate sexual orientation? (not that there is anything wrong with that)

It's not a bracelet, it's a survival watchband.

Bear Grylls para cord bracelet.

It's a survival thing. There's about 12 foot of cord in that bracelet that can be used in an emergency.

You can make your own cord bracelet in a few hours and pretty cheap.

If you really need to have your leatherman tool, couldn't you just mail it to yourself, or maybe check a bag?

True but it wouldn't have the fancy whistle

I carry a whistle that will actually make some noise. And bear grylls is a whore. His name is on everything, very little of which is worth owning

Perhaps a person could fashion a snare for hunting game...or a noose, if the wilderness experience is just too much to bear!

Seriously, that is kinda just lame....

Maybe one could braid cord or rope into a belt, could carry hundreds of feet of cord or tens of feet of more substantial rope.
