Yes, after the second episode I cheated and checked IMDB.com, and Nacho's actor is in 10 episodes.

onlycafe 02-23-2015 01:26 PM

starting at 6:30 they are running the three first episodes, and at 10:00 pm the new one.

That must mean a cancellation is looming. I sure hope not...

They already have a full 2 seasons signed for, and my guess is it will go long after that.

Baz 02-23-2015 06:41 PM

It's already (at least............) twice as good as 'The Walking Dead'.

Cheap suits, except for McKean's and maybe Odenkirk's. But overall poorly dressed.

I thought it was a touch slow but I still love it, need more!

Monday's show seemed kind of odd. It was almost all about the Michael McKean character. I hope that's building up to something.

He appears to be the moral compass / guilt trip that Jim needs to keep him relatively honest.

I agree something has to happen there for Jim to be free to become Saul.

onlycafe 03-04-2015 09:30 AM

i keep wondering.... does he become saul to escape the danger of a potential hit, or will he be paid off to give up the mcgill name, or ???..... i'm staying tuned.

wdfifteen 03-04-2015 10:39 AM

I think they answered that in Breaking Bad, but I won't spoil it for you.

Interesting read on the pacing.

Nice read - thanks Scott. I do appreciate the pace of the show - it's perfection!

Love this part:

Quote:

Later in the Hummel figurine scene, after Jimmy’s client completes her 86-second journey to the sofa, she resumes her inordinately complex discussion of who will get which tchotchkes after she dies. “No matter what, I want the towheaded twins to go to Reverend Lawrence’s grandson,” she says. Jimmy immediately pushes back: “Don’t you mean Reverend Hanes? Lawrence’s grandson is going to get the lute-playing angel, because he was in the choir.” The scene pivots on this exchange. Until now, we have assumed that Jimmy is bored and maybe a bit disdainful, which is probably true. But he has also maintained his focus to such an extent that he knows this woman’s cockamamie estate plans even better than she does. Jimmy doesn’t succumb to the boredom, he overcomes it.

Great episode...they did Mike's story very very well!

I love it when he blasted the dirty cops - best part of the whole episode.
