Need some help from the brain trust...
I'm trying to find an app for an android tablet that will let me just type out words to communicate with my father-in-law who has become profoundly deaf over the years.
I'm really new to this tablet stuff and don't know much about them at all. I'd like to be able to just type my side of the conversation if you get my drift. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Why not a voice to text app on the Android device. You speak, then show him?

That would be ideal James. Save a lot of typing.
