Citizen's Arrest! Citizen's Arrest!

Heh heh. Maybe with a little citizen's brutality thrown in just to make sure the job got done.

I'm guessing it didn't feel too good when she slammed the door on his leg.

Southwest Kia in Mesquite gave her a new car for a reward. What a great story.

What was with the 3rd passenger dropping to the ground and rolling around? Were they hurt?

While I certainly appreciate that the robber got beat down, I am shocked that the couple got out of their car and beat the guy who ran into their car (before they knew he was fleeing a crime). Imagine if that had not turned out to be the case. It seems both would be in prison now.

Imagine if he had a firearm. Could have been much worse for the mom. Even then, I think she was so angry over the perp harming her child, that she would have disarmed him instantly.

The door slam on the legs was just wonderful. Surprised the perp was still standing after that...

This happened a mile from my house. The guy rolling on the ground was her kid. Not sure what the gymnastics were about. Bad guy is a career thug with a long arrest record. He had stolen the car a bit earlier and had a pistol with him. Thug needs to be put down.

Guns are ineffective against a charging angry mother. Much like a Grizzly bear.

Sadly, I agree with you.

Flashback 25 years ago, I'm driving with my dad down Hawthorne Blvd near LAX. Dad sees a guy beating down a motorcycle cop. He flips the truck around, tells me to lock the doors. Runs over and beats the guy to within an inch of his life. Helps the cop get his bike back up, shakes his hand and gets his info. Couple weeks later we're at city hall and he gets a award from the city of Hawthorne.

Dad always was a badass, never carried a gun. Didnt need one. That lady in Dallas flipped in protection mode like my dad.

Today in So Cal? they would have arrested him. I imagine Dallas to be rather lenient on community action.

Nice story.
This video was kind of painful to watch. They should have given the poor woman a break and turned the camera off after about 30 seconds. I think I would have slammed the door and hidden on the floor after having that camera in my face for a few seconds.

He was a BAMF. Damn glad he taught me how to throw down. Usually consisted of waking up on the ground til I was quick enough.
