Eddie does a lot of licks as rhythm parts on that album. What else you guys play? Gig often?

Right now it's Roth-only, but once we have a new singer broken in, I hope to do some Sammy stuff. My favs to play live are Beautiful Girls, Hear About It Later and Little Guitars. In limbo with no singer now, but will have gigs as soon as we ask for them. At our last one, a lot of folks asked the venue owner when we were coming back. But that singer (a total DLR look-alike) doesn't get along with the drummer. So we have to find a new one. We recently had the one from a local Led Zep tribute want to sing with us, but, as well as he can sing, he just doesn't know the VH catalogue. If you didn't grow up playing it, you ain't gonna just learn it in your late 40s. So that was a no-go.

My personal favorites are VHII and WACF. Sometimes I think Fair Warning comes close to those two, but nothing makes the hair on my arms stand up like his tone on those two. I'm probably the only guitar player of my generation not in love with VHI. It's great an all, but they just got better after that. And my recent mantra has been to play with ever less distortion, whereas his tone on VHI has the most distortion.

My favorite. I think this really sums up what they were all about. I grew up in 1980's Los Angeles, VH was OUR band.

Fair Warning--great album.

Although it does have a lot of covers, I really like Diver Down as well--Hang em High, just rips.

So many good VH tunes--Hear About it Later, Women and Children First, Drop Dead Legs, etc etc....

Anyone catch Eddie mention that his 1972 Lambo Miura S was the revving car engine in the Pamana breakdown?
And he still owns it today!
