Seems like yesterday you were going for an early winter drive.

Pretty soon this will feel like yesterday too. Just not tomorrow.

I petty you guys. No wonder I see out of state license plates every day from people moving to CA. I'm on the porch in my pajamas right now. 70s ...

The temps here haven't been above freezing for much of the week, but that's like springtime where my in-laws live near Buffalo. You hardy folks up north are truly a strong, and healthy class of citizens to have to deal with the below zero Fahrenheit temperatures, and yards deep show. Props to you folks!

I couldn't possibly handle that.

It could not be a more beautiful day here on the eastern side of the bay in S.F. Calif.
And of course we pay a premium for living here; high taxes, to many people on the roadways; liberal politics run a muck just to name a few things.

Yellowperil,

Where did you find your (satellite?) image? I haven't been able to find one as clear as that.

It snowed 4" today while we drove 2 hours to Dayton (300 ft visibility the entire way) to check out a job site for my wife's company....40 mph on the interstate in a BMW 325 ci, slipping sideways occasionally, avoiding the fast moving trucks. On the way home in the late afternoon, roads were good, sun was out. I don't mind snow like that with no winds and 25 degrees.

Warmed right up today to 25ºF so played a little hockey on the backyard rink! 30º tomorrow, and then another storm and sub-zero temps for Monday. Seems like it will never end.

I also feel bad for you guys back there. I guess one of the only things you can be thankful for is that you weren't an Indian trying to survive conditions like that a few hundred years ago.
