Twin Peaks, TV show, not Hooters alt
Did anyone watch this stuff when it was prime time?
Thoughts? I don't really remember much. I don't think I watched it much when it was on. I don't think it was big with the college crowd. The missus and I have been curious about it for a while, so we've watched a couple of episodes on Netflix. It's hilarious, and absolute hoot. The funny thing is that I don't think it was supposed to be considered so campy in the day.

Saw it on broadcast TV back in the day, i remember thinking was TV will never be the same. But then TV was the same, took a few years for mass media to catch up to Twin Peaks.. It was weird & we loved it.

I wish David Lynch would make a good movie instead of f***ing with the audience. The guy clearly has the talent.

Back in the day I watched it because my ex was a fan of the show... The opening scene of the mechanical saw sharpening was mesmerizing.
Other than that I don't remember much.

I remember watching the first few episodes on TV and scratching my head as to what I was seeing......maybe it was genious, but I just didn't get it !......another TV show that was a waste of time.

It was good but lost traction towards the end - I thought that it stalled. Would have been a better mini-series on HBO or Showtime. Had good edge. The editor's timing was spot on for the first half of the series.

I never watched an episode but liked the music so I bought the CD. "Into The Night" and "Falling" are two in particular that I've always enjoyed listening to.

Best thing about Twin Peaks was Sherilyn Fenn. Hot back in the day.

I thought it was great, and watched every episode. The most memorable scene was when Audrey put a maraschino cherry in her mouth and pulled the stem out tied in a knot.

Funny timing, the wife and I are watching the series again on DVD.
 Currently on S1; E7.We loved the series back in the day and my wife surprised me on our honeymoon up in WA/Vancouver area by booking a weekend at the Salish. We drove around and hit all the areas were they filmed, had a slice of pie at the Double R., etc. Had a blast! The lodge and falls are amazing and we've been back there a couple of times since. Love me some Lynch but, I agree the last half of the second season kind of stalled. We watched Fire Walk with Me in the theater but, we were a little disappointed with it.

I've been to Snoqualmie falls, but didn't know anything about the show or the Salish at the time.
I think we watched the first 4 episodes yesterday. I don't think I ever really watched it back in the day, but I do remember that Sherilyn Fenn was smokin' hot. We used to watch a series on cable called Psych. It's a mystery/comedy, and one of the episodes was called "Dual Spires" and was a tribute to Twin Peaks with a bunch of the original cast. After we've watched some more of the series, we're going to go back and watch Dual Spires again to spot more of the references.

i havent seen twin peaks, but I have seen several david lynch movies.
When I was in college I used to think mullhuland drive was my favorite movie. As an adult I think I may have had weird and good confused! I generally like Lynch movies, especially eraser-head but I think sometimes I think there is no hidden deeper meaning in some of his stuff. Just a bit weird for the sake of weird, sometimes borderline dry humor
