I guess the point is that I don't care what other people say about a thread, if it interest's me, i'll look at it with no regard to a star rating....rather like Craigslist and how viewing for-sale posts always reverts back to "relevant" when what I want to see is the "newest" posts.

You are hit or miss in my book in terms of threads you start. The sheer volume of started topics probably drags the quality down. 80% of them are not very interesting. I admit, I likely one-starred a few over the years even though I do rarely use that voting system ...

I rarely, rarely even notice the stars. Only a few times have I noticed them attached to my own threads.

I admit I have had some small threads that were immediately 1-2 star rated, and I wholly admit that those threads likely deserved them. I've made some god awful posts here.
